Danny Norman - Danny first started running in 2004, joined a running club in June 2005 and two months later discovered what would turn out to be the running phenomenon that is parkrun. Upon running his first Bushy parkrun he fell in love with the concept straight away and has since become obsessed. From volunteering in every way possible to being the Bushy parkrun Run Director through to being on the Bushy parkrun committee he has watched the growth of parkrun from the early days of one event and a handful of runners to the national and fast-becoming global success it is now. Danny's proudest parkrun legacy is the creation of the original Bushy Park Time Trial tree which has now become the rebranded parkrun logo we know and love.

Danny has a degree in Media Arts and English from St. Mary's University in Twickenham, but now ironically runs more on the track there than he ever did in his time as a student. He has PB's of 16:25 for 5k, 34:08 for 10k, 73:16 for the Half Marathon and 2:39:59 for the Marathon. Presenting 'the parkrun show' is Danny's first venture into podcasting alongside the seasoned broadcast giants of Marathon Talk that are Tom and Martin. He's probably the best of the three already.
