8.0 An average of my Saturday and Sunday runs... Was meant to be giving it some welly at parkrun but some mild food poisoning stopped that happening :( A wonderful off-road ten miler with H on Sunday turned my weekend frown upside down though :)

9.5 Would have been a 10 but for the two i-pod wearing idiots who were unaware of their surroundings (think they thought they were the only ones running) and almost shoved me in the canal and the many others who were in their own music world and made progress difficult and a little worrying after the two near misses! Took part in yesterday's Grand Union Canal Half Marathon. Waiting for the official results but beat my previous time by at least 10 minutes and a new PB :D

9.5 Spent the last two weeks running interval and hill sessions on a gym treadmill (in Mauritius, which sounds great - but it was too hot and humid to run much more than 30 mins outside, and there was only about 1.5 miles of straight and traffic-safe road to use!) so I relished a great trail/country lane 10 miles in the English countryside today. Also fab news that I found out I have got a place for London through my running club, Southampton Athletic. We're looking for sub 3.15 to go 'good for age' and this time is my time I believe. So a great week!

Hi, also got London place but in the official ballot and also aiming for sub 3.15 from my first London. My pb is 3.28, best of luck with your training.

9.0 Final few weeks until the Florence marathon. I ran in the Met League cross country at Trent Park - my second ever cross country race and the first proper muddy one. And then 2hrs easy on Sunday. Feeling good if a little tired and excited about the marathon on 28 November.

1.0 Ran the Fisher's Ghost 10 km fun run in Sydney ... hot and hilly, knew I was in trouble before the end of the first 5pm lap but pushed on anyway. Not much run and not much running!

9.0 I came in 20th (out of 100 female finishers) in the Edinbughr Braids Hill race, was first back from the Leeds Uni XC team and beat last years time by 80 seconds! Weather was great, but loses a mark for being so muddy that I had to chuck away my socks afterwards!

4.0 A 20 minute park run at slower than my marathon pace (of three weeks ago). The fact that it was a crisp autumn morning made it a 4 rather than a 1! The only way is up.

8.0 Struggled through a 17 mile long run early Sunday morning. I even managed a tempo mile to get away from the inebriated reveller on his walk home who was adamant he could keep pace with me. Sadly for him he couldn't.

7.0 ‎7/10 a nice run to blow the cobwebs away after a week off of training from Lossiemouth to Elgin whilst I'm on holiday ....No Watch ..... No Pressure just pure running ,
Tom my Debacle (which I would pronounce De-baa-kel) at the Congleton ...half was ... My training went well right up to the day with no hitches then the night before I got an upset stomach , I took some immodium on the day and was running well for the first half of the race but then my energy deserted me all of a sudden at around 7 miles and I walked/trotted home in an eventual 2:17 I was crestfallen after such a great build up , but I just told myself "get back on the horse" and I did thanks to my running friends and of course you guys @ M.T.

8.5 Longest run I've had for the last couple of months, 14.22km! Felt like I could run more but figured I shouldn't go nuts! When stuff goes well, it doesn't matter that it rained!
