In short: Good but a little over crowded in places but still a great 1st marathon!

In full: I had a dream that I wanted to do sub 3:50 for GFA but it slipped away with the crowds and the heat, then there was a sub 4 hour but again that slipped way but happy all the same. As it is my 1st it is a PB after all

8.0 Looking forward to heading out on my long solo run, after having a week out due to an illness, I was looking forward to logging a decent long run. The plan was 18 miles which would set me up nicely for Stafford 20 in two weeks, however at mile 4 I hit the deck in spectacular style, some how managing to involve both elbows , knees and hands and my nose and mouth , so I have knocked a point off for that and then the run ran short by a mile so lost another point for that. RICE for the afternoon now.

    hi all

Not long to go now, everyone is doing great but don't forget to log your runs, I have noticed that a couple didn't log anything for the last week or so.... come guys I know you are running, so get them logged.

February we need to start adding the distance for your weekly long runs, now you have embedded running in to your routine you can think about the distance and maybe pushing yourself a little further than you have in the past.

Get them thinking caps and on and good luck everyone
    K

In short: Managed to put stafford behind me! and managed 3 hours

In full: Awful weather wet and windy was an understatement however it was a nice route and the marshals were fantastic very encouraging considering how cold they must have been. Would love to do it again but preferably in better weather

Not sure if this is the right way to do this, but daft question time, do I log each run in the week or log it all at the end of the week. Sorry confused help!
