In short: Wet,windy, cold but great event.Husband(Jon)and I finished before race cancelled due to severe weather approaching.Negative splits by 3 min!
In full: 2nd place age group award also. Three pound medal will make a nice trivet. Hills, dropping temps, rain, and pit stop in the 2nd half, and still rain 3 minute negative splits. Ran with out 3 pound medals to the hotel (that was a challenge), hot shower, mad dash to airport. Little Rock course would have been very scenic on a nice day. Wonderful volunteers and spectators. It was a hard run for us but also not an easy day to be a volunteer or spectator. A big thank you to all of the supportors who came out!
