Brighton Marathon race director and 13:11 5,000m runner Tim Hutchings joined Martin to talk all things running, Tony had something to get off his chest and Tom ran more than ever! We also heard about a Marathon Talker winning the New Orleans Marathon and launched the third part of our spring motivation trilogy... Marchvellous!

I'm interested by the press up challenge and what advice you have got, it's not for me but the principles might be useful for other things as well.
How long would 100 press ups take, if you could do them. Prob 10mins or less? so a more strength fast twitch than endurance slow twitch type challenge.
Given this have you thought of doing something re developing pure strength first and then adding the endurance afterwards i.e doing 10 press ups with additional weights or bench presses so you can just do 6 times 10 with generous rest intervals. Given there is 2 of you and you seem both stuck there is scope for a bit of a controlled trial, one does something different, one sticks with the same
