Already too late for the competition ! Never mind, 6th is the best placing I'm ever likely to get in any of the MT lists ;-)
Great podcast guys, I look forward to it every week. Loved all the Comrades stuff recently and was killing myself laughing on the train to work when listening to Tony's Trials in Germany. Absolute class.

Hi Tom and Martin, congratulations on 500,000 downloads. Marathon talk and Parkrun, two of the best things offered to the running community in the past few years, and unbelievably there free. Guys I just wanted to express my gratitude to you both for the time and effort that you clearly put in on the production of this top class Podcast. I look forward to it every Wednesday and please pass on my gratitude to the great, and funny Tony Audenshaw.
Thanks again guys.

It was great to hear you read out my post in Rate Your run this week! A Clootie Dumpling is a Scottish desert (as you might guess), which is basically like a fruit cake. It was a delicious end to a race!

D'oh!
I saved the podcast too... I've been busy catching up on earlier episodes as I joined Marathon Talk a bit late, and also reviewing (I suppose that should be 're-listening to') the interviews with Mrs Y, as I was at Brueton parkrun this morning. I didn't like to ask if she'd qualified for the Olympic marathon, in case it was a sore point!
The rain stopped and the sun came out and we had a great day. Lovely to see a GB running great at a local event. Awesome to think she can run 26.2M faster than I can run 5km! Missed a PB (19:11) by about 13 seconds, but better than I'd expected.
Oh, yeah - 500,000 and 4:45, but it's a bit late for that now, huh?!
Cheers guys, loving the show - any news on MT tech gear?
